(91) veteran of WWII 442ndR.C.T.,“I” Company, peacefully passed away on February 25, 2009 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Rose Chiyeko Ikuta; daughter, Elaine (Jerry) Tominaga; son, Ed (Sandra) Ikuta; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kevin and Kris Tominaga, and Lillian Ikuta; sister, Tomiko Nakabara; brother-in-law, Sam (Sai) Ushio from NE; sister-in-law, Irene (Bill) Koseki from NV; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 11:00AM at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Central Ave., LA, CA with Rev. Gail Nakamura Messner from West LA United Methodist Church officiating. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
