He is pre-deceased by parents, Minejiro and Shizuka Shibata; brother Sumio Shibata; survived by sister, Nancy (Dicky) Tsuboi; niece, Robyn (Chris) Saito; nephews, Richy and Russell Tsuboi; grand nieces Madison and Makena Saito; uncle, Charlie (Fumio) Hamasaki; cousins, Vincent (Susie), Kevin, John and Roman Hamasaki, Julie (Tom) Ozeki, Wesley, Wendy Garrett, Marsha (Larry) Stratton and Mark Hamasaki; also survived by many relatives.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10:30AM – 12:30PM at the Kubota Nikkei Mortuary Chapel, 911 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles.
