A funeral service for Yoshihisa Kiyan, 78 year-old, Okinawa, Japan born Issei, who passed away on September 27, 2013 in Los Angeles, will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 11:00am at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rimban William Briones from LA Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating. He is survived by his children, Gary (Darlene) and Linda Kiyan; grandchildren, Zachary and Tristan Kiyan; siblings, Ikuko (Shoichi) Ikei, Shigeko (Noboru) Shimane, Yoshimasa (Kiyoko) Kiyan and Sadako (Tatsuzo) Kinjyo all of Japan, and Fusako Nakagawa of HI; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the US and Japan.
