(89), veteran of WWII, 442nd RCT, “C” Company, passed away on October 14, 2012 in Hacienda Heights. He is survived by his children, Mark (Sandy) Kobata and Patti (Michael) Nomura; grandchildren, Randy (Anne) and Krissy Kobata, Lindsey, Nikki and Ally Nomura; great grandchildren, Aidan and Caroline Kobata; siblings, Haruo (Sumi) Kobata, Setsuko Shinto, and Itsuko Kobata; also survived by many close relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 1:00PM at Grace First Presbyterian Church, 3955 N. Studebaker Road, Long Beach.
