Harry “Gramps” Oka joined his beloved wife, Fuki, on October 18, 2011. Fuki passed away peacefully on February 18, 2011 after 64 memorable years of marriage. They’re happily together again going to Las Vegas, playing poker, fishing, bowling, and rooting for the Dodgers and Lakers. His wit, quiet strength, generosity, thoughtfulness, and birthday cards will be greatly missed. Harry is preceded in death by his son, Tom Oka and son-in-law, Paul Uyeda; survived by his daughter, Peggy Uyeda; grandchildren; and other relatives here, in Northern California, Oregon, Washington, New Hampshire, and Vermont. His Celebration of Life will be on his 90th birthday.
