Beloved Aunt, Hideko Inouye Tokuda, 91 , of Los Angeles, CA, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 23, 2018 in Ventura after struggling with COPD and dementia. Hideko was born on November 5, 1926, to Yoritaro and Tome Inouye in Los Angeles, CA. She was a resident of Marina del Rey for 67 years. She was among the Japanese Americans that were sent to the internment camp in Gila River, AZ during World War II. She later married her husband of 60 years, Tsuyoshi (Tom) Tokuda.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Yoritaro and Tome Inouye and her husband Tom, brother Taro Inouye, sister Yoshiko Muto. She is survived by sister–in-law Etsuko Tokuda of Hacienda Hts and several nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed. We would also like to thank the staff of Treacy Villa in Ventura for the wonderful care she received the past several months and to Oakhurst Hospice Care for their loving care.
