(86) peacefully passed away on June 13, 2009 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her children, Diane (Ron) Kato, Dennis (Wendy) Watanabe and Suzanne Watanabe; grand children, Kristopher and Erin Kato; siblings, Lui (Mary) Kodama, Fumiko (Louis) Sasaki, Akiko Narahara, Michiko (Akira) Miyoda, Mutsuko (Mitsugi) Miyakawa, and Seiji (Linda) Kodama; sisters-in-law, Yuriko Shimasaki, Masako (Ted) Omachi, and Kunika Watanabe; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A private funeral service was held on Monday, June 22, 2009 at SenshinBuddhist Temple.
