She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Takuji Mukai; daughter, Takako Agnes Maeyama; siblings, Shizuko, Hiroshi, and Toshiyuki Baba; sons-in-law, Harold Muraoka, Tad Yamaoka, Koji Maeyama. She is survived by daughters, Shigeko Maye Muraoka and Emmy Yamaoka; nine grandchildren, Russell Muraoka, Cheryl (Richard) Ito, Douglas (Cori) Muraoka, Wesley (Susan), Laura, and Danny Yamaoka, Susan (Gregg) Yokoyama, Donna (Todd) Katayama, Joanne (Ken) Kato; 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00AM at the Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA.
