A private graveside funeral service for Shoma Miyake, 93 year-old, resident of Torrance, who peacefully passed away on November 18, 2021 with his family by his side, was held on December 7, 2021 at Green Hill Memorial Park.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Florence Mieko Miyake and daughter, Nancy Miyake-Kuwahara; and is survived by his daughter, Diane (Layne) Tarumoto; son-in-law, Arthur Kuwahara; brothers, Teruo (Momoyo) and Sadao (Takako) Miyake both of Japan; sister, Reiko Akiyama of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
