(85), born in Honolulu, Hawaii, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2012 in Torrance. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Takeuchi; children, Craig (Patty) Takeuchi and Kim (Jay) Vilarmia; sister, Tommie Yamamoto; five grandchildren; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

A private funeral service was held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary.
