(88) peacefully passed away on October 2, 2012 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her husband, Seichi Jinde; children, Bonnie (Glenn) Watje, Iris (Wilbur) Takashima, and Joyce (Kirk) Edson; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Jeanne (Ben) Chomori and Emi Jinde from NV; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Masao Kodani from Senshin Buddhist Temple officiating.
