(94) peacefully passed away on September 12, 2008 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Miyo Tani; son, Michael (Karen) Tani; daughter, Sandy (Lester) Nakamura; grand-children, Brett (Esther) and Derek Tani, Tami (Albert) Pulido, Staci and Ashley Nakamura; sister, Diane (George) Shigeta from idaho and Edna Matsusaki from Oregon; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
