A funeral service for Tsuru Miyasaki, 97-year-old, Chiba, Japan born Issei
who passed away on December 4, 2023 in Altadena, CA, will be held on
Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church of
Altadena, 2775 Lincoln Ave., Altadena, with Pastor Elizabeth Wang
officiating. In lieu of koden, a donation of your choice to First Presbyterian
Church of Altadena, Pasadena Nikkei Senior Center, and Calvary Church of
Stockton is requested.
She is predeceased by her son, Kenneth Miyasaki, and is survived by her
husband, Tom Miyasaki; her children, June and Mark (Liza) Miyasaki;
grandchildren, Justin Miyasaki and Marisa (Michael) Johnson; three greatgrandchildren;
niece and nephews, Setsuko Midorikawa, Yasuo Furusawa,
and Nobuyuki Nuta; brother, Ryoji Nuta; also survived by many other
relatives.
