(85) peacefully passed away on May 23, 2013 in Culver City. She is survived by her husband, Mike Kusaba; children, Sachie Nitta of Washington and Bill Kusaba; three grandchildren, also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. John Iwohara from Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
