A funeral service for Akiko Seino, 82-year-old, Osaka, Japan-born Issei who passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026 in Orange County, Calif., will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.

She is survived by her husband, Tatsuo Seino; children, Duke Yoshifumi Seino, Patty Akemi (Tom) Furukawa, Shirley Miwa (Paul) Harmon, Robert Takeshi (Jennifer) Seino; seven grandchildren; sisters, Atsuko Soga and Sumiko Nagai; also survived by many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
