(89) passed away on October 12, 2009 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her children, Yoshio (Julie), John Tadao (Jean), and Kei (Laurie) Teramoto, and Margaret Kimiko Higashi and Frances Mitsuko (Toshitada) Sugiyama; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Hideo (Ann) Nishimoto; brothers-in-law, Yoji Uyeda, Takeo (Maxine), Motoe (Martha) and Shiro Teramoto; sisters-in-law, Yoko Nishimoto and Grace Setsuko (Roland) Kamachi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

A viewing will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009from 9:00-9:45AM followed by funeral mass at 10:00AM at St. Francis Xavier Chapel, Maryknoll, 222 S. Hewitt St., LA.
