(82) veteran of the Korean Conflict passed away on October 23, 2011 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Emiko Miyamoto; children, Jeffrey (Wende) and Alan (Julia) Miyamoto; grandchildren, Colin, Ryan, Kevin, Kimberly, and Kari Miyamoto; sisters, Yoshiye Kuramoto and Molly (Bill) Takahashi; sisters-in-law, Sue (John) Yamamura, Bessie and Yoneko Shimoide; brother-in-law, Mikio (Sanaye) Shimoide; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00AM at West LA Buddhist Temple, 2003 Corinth Ave., LA. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
