A funeral service for Chikao Sorida, 97 year-old Hiroshima born Issei, who passed away on August 3, 2009 in Fullerton will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 7:30 PM at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim.

He is survived by his wife, Yukiko Sorida; children, Takao (Setsuko) Sorida, Naoko (Scott) Brittin of Katy, TX and Ikuko Sorida; grandchildren, Lisa Yukari (Chris) Pizula and Lani Sachiko (Paul) Lucero; brother, Kitaru Miyamoto of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
