A private funeral service for Chikayo Fujitake, 91 year-old, Papaikou, HI born Nisei, who peacefully passed away on September 9, 2012 in Los Angeles, was held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Bobby Shimizu from Sozenji Tenrikyo Mission officiating.

She is survived by her nieces, Janet (Steven) Watanabe, Lila (Art) Okamura, and Helene (Jerry) Ochi; nephew, Melvin (Susan) Ihira; 8 grandnieces and grandnephews; also survived by many other relatives.
