A funeral service for Clifford Shoei Moriyama, 82-year-old, Honolulu, HI born Sansei, Veteran of US Army who passed away on June 16, 2026, will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Senshin Buddhist Temple, 1311 W. 37th St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Sugano-Moriyama; children, Leah and Nathan (Erika) Moriyama; two grandchildren; sister, Judy (Les) Shima; also survived by many other relatives.

My deepest condolences to the family of Clifford. I remember him fondly in my classes with him at Los Angeles High School. He was a forthright and funny classmate that I will miss. May he rest in peace.
