He is survived by his wife, Jean Kawaguchi; parents, Don Hugh (Joann Frasier) McGaughey and Lonavene (John) Mehlert; brother, Don Alan (Laura) McGaughey; sister, Laura (John) Primrose; step-siblings, Julie Frasier, Peter (Nansea) Mehlert and Vicki (Terry) Wester; mother-in-law, Hideko Kawaguchi; brothers-in-law, Douglas (Mari) Kawaguchi, Paul (Lori) Kawaguchi and Ken (Cheryl Murase) Kawaguchi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
