(55) peacefully passed away on December 13, 2009 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his Mother, Hiroko Omiya; brother, Keiichi Tanno, sisters; Tokie (Manabu) Kobayahi and Tomiko (Isao) Yagi, both of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Private memorial service was held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary.
