Dorothy Chiyono Ifuku, 92-year-old, Papalda, Hawaii-born Sansei, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024, in Santa Monica. She is predeceased by her husband, Howard Ifuku; and survived by her children, David (Yuko) Ifuku and Adele Laufer; grandchildren, Maki and Megumi Ifuku, Mathew, Kayla and Jessica Laufer; brothers, Edwin (Jean) and Roy Shitabata; also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
