Ed was born to the late Yoshiko and Masanori Nishikawa in Lihue, Kauai. He attended Kauai High School and was a veteran of the Korean War. After relocating to Los Angeles, Ed worked as a transmission mechanic for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Gladys, two daughters, Sonia and Cheryl, son-in-law, Carlyle, four grandchildren, Matthew, Allison, Nicholas, and Kimberly, and younger siblings, Bessie, Frances, Henry (Hank), and Herbert.
