(78) veteran of the Korean Conflict passed away on October 7, 2010 in Torrance. He is survived by his wife, Aiko Tamada; children, Emily Kuniko (Tom) Kuwahara and Judy Mayumi (Kevin) Kuwae; grandchildren, Leanne, Drake Kuwahara and Jamie, Jared Kuwae; siblings, Teruo (Teruko) Tamada, Fumiko (Mitsugi) Ikkanda, Suzuko (Tsutomu) Sera, Takeshi (Tatsuko), Takanori (Miyoko) and Yoshinori (Kimiko) Tamada, last three of Japan; mother-in-law, Nami Takata; brothers-in-law, Toru (Kuniko) and Hideichi (Reiko) Takata; sisters-in-law, Kuniko Tamada and Fusako Ohara; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 18 at 10:00 AM at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.
