(90) passed away on May 7, 2011 in Huntington Beach. She is survived by her spouse, George Masumiya; children, Curtis (Valerie) and Craig (Sho) Masumiya; grandchildren, Allison and Joseph Masumiya, Katrina (Richard) Winiarski, and Kelly Masumiya; Great-grandson Kaz Winiarski; brother Eiichi (Cherry) Adachi; sister-in-law, Mary Ito; brother-in-law, Ted (Judy) Kanekuni; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

A private funeral service was held on Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Paul Nakamura from Lutheran Oriental Church officiating.
