(52) peacefully passed away on January 27, 2013 in Los Angeles. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Mary Funada, sister, Diane Funada, and survived by his sister, Cheryl Funada; sisters-in-law, Yoshiko Mayekawa, Fumiko Furukawa, Chiyeko (Kay) Fukui of Oregon, Kiyoko (Harry) Hikida, Michiko and Ikuko Ito, also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11:00AM at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Alfred Tsuyuki from Konko Church of Los Angeles officiating.
