(87), veteran of WWII, passed away on January 19, 2010 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Janet Ueda; children, Rick and Dean (Julia) Ueda; grand children, Kayla and Kelsey Ueda; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
