(93), veteran of WWII, peacefully passed away on March 20, 2013 in Fullerton. He is survived by his children, Alice (Hank) Kadowaki, Sharon (Glenn) Sugita and Gail (Ken) Nishida; grandchildren, Staci (Garin) Yoshimura, Trisha Nishimura, and Kevin and Kayla Nishida; one great-grandson; siblings, Yutaka (Hisako) Nakamura, Fusae (Joe) Endo and Hideko Noriyuki; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.

A private funeral service was held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Sozenji Buddhist Temple.
