GINO YORIHARU TANABE (60) passed away on February 13, 2026 in

Hawaiian Gardens, CA. He is predeceased by his father, Yorinobu “Jimi”

Tanabe; and survived by his mother, Hideko Takamine Sansui; siblings,

Nino Tanabe and Gina (Bryan Grosman) Tanabe; nephew, Parker Tanabe-

Grosman; aunts, Michiko Fujimoto, Katsuko Nakagawa, Tomiko Nishimura,

and Betty Wacker; also survived by many cousins and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2:00PM at LA

Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles.
