(90) passed away on October 16, 2011 in Gardena. She is predeceased by her sons, Richard and Eugene Ito and survived by her children, Helen (Sam) Sunada, Ruth (Hitoshi) Miya, Sherry (Michael) Curwick, Jack and Rick Ito; grandchildren, James and Jill Higuchi, Alison and Amanda Ito, Kim Weiss, Christy Hoff, and Jack Ito; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Ito; siblings Masa and Hisa (Nancy) Miya, Fumi Matsumoto, and Tomio (Eiko) Miya; sister-in-law, Yoko Miya; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Chapel of Green Hills Cemetery, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA with Rev. Marvin Harada from Orange County Buddhist Church Officiating.
