(79) peacefully passed away on September 30, 2008 in Los Angeles. Heis survived by his wife, Mieko Kawana; sons, Victor (T.J.) and Alex(Shari) Kawana; siblings, Emiko Choi and Frank (Sachie) Kawana, Sumi Tatsui(Mike) Levine; grandchildren, Quaid and Quintin Kawana; step-grandchildren,Jordan and Jaina Christensen; sister-in-law Reiko Yasuda; brother-in-law,Hiroshi (Yoshiko) Shibata also survived by many nieces, nephews, and otherrelatives.
