(87), Veteran of the US Army, passed away on February 5, 2012 in Covina. He is survived by his wife, Teruko Matsumoto; children, Chester (Deanna), Harry Matsumoto and Ann Payne; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Matoi; sisters-in-law, Mitsuye, Sueko and Fumi Matsumoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in US and Japan.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., L.A., CA.
