(87) Veteran of Company A 515th Army Parachute Infantry Regiment, passed away on July 3, 2009 in Encinitas. He is survived by his wife, Miwako Ukegawa; children, Joe T., James, Alice, Leslie, and Jack Ukegawa; grandchildren, Robyn Toyoko Ukegawa and Jade Hiroshi Ukegawa; sisters, Mutsuko Iwatate, Kiyoko Kitagawa, Sachiko Oyama and Yoshi Kato; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on July 13, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Eternal Hills Memorial Park Memorial Chapel, 1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA.
