(77) peacefully passed away on December 8, 2008 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Nakayama; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Private memorial gathering was held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary.
