(76), Veteran, peacefully passed away on September 16, 2012 in Torrance. He is survived by his wife, Tomiye Hatanaka; borther, Masakazu (Reiko) Hatanaka; sisters-in-law, Toy Hatanaka, Anna Taka, Hanako Kishiyama, Tsuyeko Shishido; brothers-in-law, Yoshio (Kay) Shishido and Kei Wada; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 10:00AM at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena with Rev. Gary Tawa from Cerritos Baptist Church officiating.
