(81) passed away on August 2, 2011 in Santa Monica. He is survived by his wife, Fujiko Oriba; daughters, Joanne and Kathy Oriba; siblings, Fusaye Kurosaki, Mary Jenner, Bob (Kiyoko) and Roy (Kimiko) Oriba; brothers-in-law, Noboru (Masako) Koda and Kenji (Shinobu) Koda; sisters-in-law, Sumiye (Ted) Takeuchi and Kazuko (Robert) Yamamoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11:00AM at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Drive, Culver City. Parking will be available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Dr., LA.
