JIMMY FUMIO NISHIOKA a private graveside service for 89-year-old Canoga Park, CA born Nisei who passed away on April 21, 2025 was held on August 16, 2025 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
He is survived by his daughter, April Maki (Jon) Joke; son, Jeffrey (Marcia) Nishioka; grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison and Jeremy Joke, and Rylie Nishioka; also survived by other relatives.

My Dad was a customer of Jimmy’s. He worked in Gardena in the 60s and 70s and took all of his cars to Jimmy for repairs. Jimmy introduced my Minnesota born Dad to Japanese food, so my Dad took us to eat at the local restaurants, too. RIP Jimmy
