A funeral service for Jitsuei Yogi, 65 year-old, Shuri, Okinawa born Issei who passed away on August 18, 2009 in Los Angeles will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Kubota Nikkei Mortuary Memorial Chapel, 911 Venice Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90015 with Rev. Kojo Kakihara from Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Miwako Yogi; son, Hideo Jimmy Yogi; daughter, Noemi Nancy Yogi; brothers, Minoru Mihara, Yoshio (Yoneko) and Mitsuo (Naomi) Yogi, latter two of Japan; sister, Mieko Shimabukuro of Japan; nephew, Mikio Ronald Yogi; sister-in-law, Etsuko (Kensho) Shinzato, also survived by many relatives.
