(88) passed away on May 6, 2011 inSanta Monica. She is survived by her children, Julie Ann (Scott Uematsu) Tajiri and Sandra M. (Walton) Soo; grandchildren, Casey K. and Jennifer Uematsu, Dustin andCarly Soo; sisters-in-law, Mary (Harold) Jonokuchi, Marian Hiromoto, and KayTeraoka; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private funeral service was held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Masao Kodani from Senshin Buddhist Church officiating.
