(90) passed away on July 18, 2011 in Culver City. He is survived by his wife, Yoneko Shimoide; children, Joyce, Janice and Dr. Ronald (Pansy) Shimoide; grandchildren, Steven and Brandon Shimoide; siblings, Suzuko (John) Yamamura, Emiko (Ben) Miyamoto and Mikio (Sanaye) Shimoide; Brothers-in-law, Masaharu Kozai and Shigeo (Kinuko) Hayashi; sisters-in-law, Bessie Shimoide and Tomiyo (Toshiaki) Kozai; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00AM under the auspices of Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Drive, Culver City. Parking will be available at the Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Dr., LA.
