(71) peacefully passed away on August 16, 2013 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her children, Paula Wada and Troy (Kandi) Ono; grandchildren, Preston, Matthew, Aaron, and Sean; sisters, Leatrice Omiya of Honolulu, HI and Janet (Rudy) Viloria of Honolulu, HI; brother, Kenneth Yoshida of Honolulu, HI; brothers-in-law, George (Merle) Ono, David Ono, and Bill Higa; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 East 1st. St, Los Angeles, CA.
