(78) passed away on July 6, 2012 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her husband, Tony Kusumoto; children, Marlene Kusumoto and Jean (Carl) Kusumoto Braun; grandson, Kai; siblings, Noriko (Carol) Shurson and Akihiro (Teruko) Takaara, both from Japan; sister-in-law, Sumiko Woo from Washington; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
