(96) peacefully passed away on April 24, 2013 in San Gabriel. She is survived by her children, Marci and Douglas Masuda; grandchildren, Dr. Lance (Vien) Ogata, Douglas Masuda Jr., Erin Masuda, and Maybelle and Michelle Masuda; great-granddaughters, Summer and Autumn Ogata; siblings, Mas and Yo Oshiki, and Yemi Tokunaga; sisters-in-law, Kiyoko Higuchi, Masae Arima and Taeko Iwanaga; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

A private funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park, with Rev. Richard Furukawa of Johrei Fellowship officiating.
