(89), veteran of World War II Veteran, 100th / 442 Infantry Battalion, passed away on April 19, 2012 in Torrance. He is survived by his children, Carolyn (Mark Fong) Miya and Amy Miya; sister, Yuri Miya; sister-in-laws, Mitsie Miya, Yuri Umeda, Kay (Harry) Inami; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena, CA. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
