A private graveside funeral service for Kenneth Tamura, 87 year-old, Honolulu, HI born Nisei, who passed away on May 1, 2011 in Torrance was held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Green Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Hosho Shindo from Gardena Buddhist Church officiating. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Tamura; children, Ann (Phillip) Tsutsui, Charlene (Jeffrey) Nation, and Shelly (Lyle) Okamura; grand children, Kevin Tsutsui, Lauren, Ryan and Lani Nation, and Russell Okamura; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives both here and in Hawaii.
