(83) passed away on August 20, 2011 in Los Angeles. She is survived by her son, George (Harumi) Yanase; grand daughter, Kristin Shintani; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary officiated by SGI-USA San Fernando Community Center. Family requests that flowers be omitted.
