(77) passed away on July 21, 2009 in Los Angeles. He is survived by his wife, Madoka Takahashi; daughters, Mai and Risa Takahashi, the latter from Japan; also survived by other relatives. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 7:00PM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., LA, CA with Bishop Gengo Akiba from Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.
