A private funeral service for Kyoko Murakami, 85-year-old, Nagoya, Japan-born Issei, who passed away on January 15, 2026 in Los Angeles, was held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Kubota Mortuary, with Rev. Naoya Okano from Gedatsu Church USA officiating.

 

She is survived by her husband, Miyuki Murakami; also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other relatives in the US and Japan.
