A funeral service for Larry Hiroshi Kawahara, 79-year-old, Los Angeles, CA born Sansei who passed away on October 10, 2026 in Torrance, will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 2:00PM at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.

Larry is survived by his wife, Jane Kawahara; his children, Jarrod (Michelle), and Lauren Kawahara; his granddaughter, Aurora Kawahara; his brother, Eugene (Sharon) Kawahara; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kawahara, who is survived by his wife, Inez Kawahara.
